Hi everyone! This month I got so many cool freebies and I thought I would also include the birthday freebies I was lucky enough to receive. In fact, I got so many I don’t know how I am going to start using these up! Quickly, I didn’t mention this below, but there was a $1 off Suave at Walgreens, which was the price of the Suave shampoo in the picture below. So, without further ado, let’s go through my freebies…
Tarte & Urban Decay Birthday Treats: If you subscribe to cosmetic brand websites or Sephora, on your birthday they offer a free treat (with purchase). Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the city for my Sephora birthday treat. But, I was excited about the Urban Decay Afterglow highlighter in the shade Sin. I really love this highlighter and it is quickly becoming my favorite because it is not as sparkly as other highlighters I have, but gives you such a pretty glow. I also love the silver packaging of this. From Tarte, I received a travel size of the tarteist deluxe creamy matte lip paint in fomo. I do wish they gave you a bigger size and I have to say it is not worth buying something else to get this, unless there is something you’ve been wanting. That being said, I absolutely love the color and the minty scent of it. I also like that it is not too drying on the lips, so I will probably purchase this in a bigger size in the future.
Body shop: For my birthday, The Body Shop credited my account $10 and they were also having free shipping. However, they did require your order to be at least $1, so I ordered $13 worth of items. I received 4 of the masks and 4 bath bombs/bubbles. I have so far tried one of the British Rose Masks and it was very moisturizing, so I am looking forward to trying the rest of these out.
Amazon: This month, I discovered the Amazon Sample page for prime members. How it works is that you pay $2-4 for a sample size, which then gets credited on your account for full sized items. So, for skincare, I ordered the La Roche-Posay Micellar Cleansing Water and Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer, and Vichy Pureté Thermale Perfecting Facial Toner. I am super excited to try these out and I will let you know what I think!
Monat: The Monet website was offering free samples of a personalized system, which unfortunately they are no longer offering. I signed up for these samples online and then someone emailed me asking for details on my hair type and concerns. I definitely need a haircut based on the ends of my hair, but I am hoping these will make some difference.
Macys: These items also came with a purchase in store at Macy’s. I have tried the All Nighter Setting Spray and it really does set your makeup in face all day (or all night). I also recently ordered the eyeshadow primer and I know that I really like it, but am looking forward to try the different varieties in this sample. Lastly, I received the origins Mix & Mask in Purify and Hydrate. It came it the cute little package below and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there were two of each mask when I opened it up!
Goddess Garden: The Goddess Garden website was also offering free samples of the sun repair system below. I am thinking I will wait to try these out until the weather warms up a bit and I start going outside more, but I love the light blue packages of these.
Beauty counter: These free samples were available on the Beauty Counter website. If you sign up, someone will email you to find out which three samples you would like to try out and mine came in the cutest little pink package. After I try these out, I am going to let them know what I think and I’ll try to update you guys as well!
Please let me know if there is anything in here that you use and love or have been wanting to try! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post.
