3 Pinterest DIYs

Hi guys! I know there are so many cute DIY projects on Pinterest and I have never tried them. So, for this post I thought I would try three of the cute ideas that I have saved over the years and see how they turn out. If you would like to see the original pins, click on the links below.

  1. Cornstarch Matte Nail Polish: I have seen this a few times on pinterest. It kind of works, but is not worth trying. Overall, it pretty much just adds a white tint over your nail polish. However, I think this DIY would work out better if you mix in the cornstarch with the top coat polish. The polish color I used for this was Revlon Creme Nail Enamel in Vixen. Please let me know if you have tried this and how it worked out for you. In the picture below, I used the cornstarch on the left nails and painted the right nails normally.

  1. 2. Pom Pom Magnets: I thought these little pom pom magnets turned out so cute! I did just use regular glue for these, but definitely recommend using a hot glue gun like they did in the original post because the pom poms fell off some of the magnets with the regular glue. I have a bunch of nice yarn, but for pom poms, I like to use the RED HEART Super Saver Yarn because it is very affordable and  makes nice thick pom poms.

  3. Instagram Wall Art: This was my favorite DIY that I tried because I have taken so many pictures throughout my travels and this is a great way to display them in real life. I just printed my pictures out on an inkjet printer, cut them out to fit the wood pieces and stuck them on with regular Elmer’s glue. I definitely recommend trying this out!

Let me know if you have tried any of these projects or any other pins you have tried and what you thought. These were really fun, easy DIYs to try and I will do similar post again in the future if you guys like it. Thanks for reading!
